Texas Dog: August (Grit x Bandit) August passed his first two Started HRC tests this past weekend! If all goes well he will get his SHR title weekend after next! We love our little Red boy so much, and can't thank you enough for the opportunity to own such a wonderful pet/family member!!
The most well behaved dog I have ever had! August lays at the foot of my recliner and just chills out most days. Never showed any aggression toward another dog or person.
He absolutely loves his role as a duck dog! All I have to say is, you ready to go to duck camp, and he flips the switch and you can literally see the sparkle in his eyes! I could go on and on! |

Palo Pinto, Texas DOG: Jack (Rascal x Rusty) I could go on and on about how pleased I am with Dawn/Iron Spike Kennels and my new pup ISR BlackJack Double Down (call name Jack). Suffice it to say any future pup(s) I get will be from Iron Spike Kennels.
Not quite 9 mos...and he did great on his first hunt! Excellent boat and blind manners, didn't break and delivered to hand!!!! |

California Dog: Decoy (Snickers x Yukon) Decoy is getting tuned up ready for California duck hunting season!! I can't believe it was 4 years ago I bought him from you guys. He's been an amazing lab!!!
Thanks again for supplying awesome labs! |

Houston, TX DOG: Reba (Missy x Bear) Can't say enough good things about Ms. Reba. Tons of drive, willing to please, speed to burn, nose like a bloodhound and a HUGE water entry. It's just amazing what she can do at 8 months. Happy, Happy, Happy!!!
I didn't keep track of the number of Reba's live marks this year, but it's somewhere between 50 and 75 counting dove season and the last week of duck. Thanks again for an awesome pup! |

Waterfowl & Dove Hunter DOG: Wyatt (Rascal x Rusty) |
Had a great JD Murphree hunt yesterday with Parker and Scout. Small pot hole (muddy!!!) with several ducks falling beyond the pond in heavy marsh grass cover. Scout made three real nice handled/blind retrieves. Made my day - we are real proud of Scout - and he works just as well for Parker or me.
Thanks for everything you do! |
We couldn't wait for the south zone opener, so we had to drive to Uvalde and get a couple of hunts in.
This is Wyatt on his first dove hunt at 8-1/2 months, which I'm happy to say I did not have to pick up a single bird all day long. This dog is my best buddy and everything I could have wanted in a dog. |

Chandler Oklahoma Chapter DOG: Jack (Rebel x Bandit) Black Jack is the best dog I've ever had. He's known as "the DU Dog" up here in Oklahoma. He goes to work with me everyday and is one of my best sales associates.
Jackie & Jason Myers
The Colony, TX DOGS: Ruger & Kimber (Echo x Rusty) Wanted to share a pic from yesterday's dove opener. Ruger is an Iron Spike dog (Echo x Rusty) and Kimber was initially trained at Iron Spike. Can't say enough about our happiness with them both!
